Evangelisches Gymnasium zum Grauen Kloster, Schulschachteam

Latest trace

A team of the school played in 2 dated Berlin school chess team events since October 2024, each on its own day: the semi-final (Halbfinale 2) of the Berlin school chess team championship (Berliner Schulschachmeisterschaft), WK III, 20 February 2025 (team printed «Ev. Gymnasium zum Grauen Kloster»); the quarter-final (Viertelfinale) of the Berlin school chess team championship (Berliner Schulschachmeisterschaft), WK III, 28 January 2025, won 4:0 in both legs (school printed «Das Ev. Gym. Zum Grauen Kloster gewinnt Hin- und Rückspiel jeweils 4:0.»). Each is a team competition of the Berlin school chess programme of the Berliner Schachverband, open to teams of Berlin schools whose players all belong to the school, so the school stands as one side. The official school directory of Berlin (school year 2026/27) lists the school at Salzbrunner Straße 41, 14193 Berlin (Schmargendorf). The results pages are the only chess trace; no page of the school about chess was opened, so the entry stays unconfirmed. The card records the school’s team, not a session open to visitors.
